Hi.

Sorry I don’t have any pictures this time. My camera suffered some serious vertical-dropage with its lens extended. Everything is intact but the lens seems to be shifted to the point where there is severe blurring in the pictures and grinding noises can be heard when the lens is moving. Looks like I’ll have to have Canon service it. Just when the tripod arrived and I could have shown you some more tricks… well, I guess you’ll have to check back EVERY time I post and stay tuned. Heh heh. The Lord is so good to me.

Speaking of arrival, my dad arrived in Taiwan on Monday night and I had the chance to see him twice already. He will be here for two months on a leave of absence from work to see my grandmother who is in poor health condition and will be living with my aunt. Since she lives close by, I will be able to see my dad often. All I can say is that I really have a lot to learn from this Christian man in living out my faith practically. Pray that the Lord would teach me and that He would continue to grant us sweet fellowship and growth.

With the “departure” of the camera, a gift has arrived: the new laptop! I want to thank all of you again who have freely given of themselves to encourage and provide for me in my time of need. I do not deserve it, yet here I am writing a post with it! I can now do sermon recording and editing without borrowing a computer, muahahaha. While we’re on the subject of productivity, pray that I will be able to purposefully use my time here even before work starts. I want to, in all things, “work heartily as for the Lord” everyday. Even in leisure, pray that it would be controlled, that I would give God glory for the rest that it provides, and that it would help me to get more things done in the long-run.

As for EBCT, I’ve begun to teach some of them English on Sundays. I’m not sure if we meant for this to be a long term endeavor, but I really wouldn’t mind. I want to strive to start thinking long-term. As I get to know the members more and more, pray that I would be seeking to find ways to practically serve them and bear their burdens. I think, in the effort to find a brother to learn how to minister to, getting to know how I can serve them will be my starting point. Pray for strength and resolve to give of myself.

That's all! And, seriously. Update me. I haven't talked with a lot of you for sooooo long.
